Who we are

fruguson is an independent UK publication covering internet TV: legal IPTV services, streaming apps and the equipment that runs them. Every guide is researched, written and reviewed by our editorial team, people who set up, pay for and live with these services at home.

Our mission

Cutting the cord in the UK is confusing: overlapping services, shifting prices, and a flood of “too good to be true” subscriptions that are exactly that. We help readers build a TV setup that’s legal, reliable and good value; no fluff, no hype, no affiliate-driven rankings.

How we work

We buy our own subscriptions, test on real hardware (Samsung and LG smart TVs, Fire TV, Google TV, Apple TV) over ordinary home broadband, and verify prices and channel line-ups against official provider pages before publishing. When something changes, we update the guide and show the date. We only cover licensed UK services. Read our Editorial Guidelines for the full process.
