Andrew Garfield Open to More Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire

Andrew Garfield says that he is open to more Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire after Spider-Man: No Way Home. He was last seen in the role seven years back in Spider-Man 2.

Spider-Man: No Way Home has made a record-breaking $1.35 billion worldwide, taking its place as the eighth-highest grossing movie at the box office. The movie brought together three generations of Spider-Man movies with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, with the current Spider-Man, Tom Holland. The movie also featured multiple characters from Spider-Man franchises of Sam Raimi and Webb’s. We got villains such as Green Goblin, Doc Ock, and Electro.

In a conversation with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Andrew Garfield was asked what is the future of his career as Spider-Man to which he said that he is more than happy to be a part of the new Spider-Man movie. He also said that he would love to continue working on Spider-Man movies in the future with Tobey and Tom.

“I would love to continue working with Tobey and with Tom. I think that kind of three-brother dynamic is so…I don’t know, juicy.”

Seeing three Spider-Man’s on one screen was very special as Garfield, Maguire, and Holland had such good chemistry. Each character had their time to shine. The three had great chemistry, even though the screentime was limited, the scenes where the trio appeared together made it worthwhile. Maguire has not commented on his appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it’s safe to say he had a great time as well.

With the new phase of Marvel Cinematic Universe in full swing and Marvel’s deal with Sony, we can hope to see another multiverse. Not to mention, the huge demand from fans and the movie’s record-breaking theatrical run and box office haul.

The thought of a multiverse Spider-Man movie is exciting, but the fans would love to see Garfield in a new The Amazing Spider-Man movie. After The Amazing Spider-Man 2 failed to make the box office launch as it was expected, Sony ended The Amazing franchise, and replaced it with Tom Holland’s ‘Home Trilogy.’

Thanks to Kevin Feige’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans got to see Andrew Garfield again as Spider-Man, and will hopefully get to see the trio again in action in the upcoming movies.
